I have been laboring over what is it in my work that is most important, the process or the final result. In all algorithmic music, or at least in the effective pieces, I believe the composer has made aesthetic decisions which affect the outcome of the piece. I believe that the final result of the piece is of utmost importance. On the other hand, I believe that knowing how the piece functions brings more understanding and enjoyment.
I have organized the following pages so that all sound samples appear before the explanation of the piece. I leave the decision to the listener. I hope that in my artworks I have struck a balance between the process and the result.
