frittilus is a handbuilt electronic musical instrument. It is essentially an FM oscillator with some modifications. The carrier and modulator signals affect each other diffrerently depending on which way the N-S (north-south) toggle switches are oriented. The left E-W toggles activate a random arpeggiator and right E-W toggles activate a random rhythm output, each controlled by flashing LED's. The center pots control the frequency of the oscillators. A photocell allows for gestural control of the carrier signal.
